[Kit Feedback] Lacking Interiors
I don't think you can really call the kits (which are exceptional btw, not detracting from that at all) game ready, until they have proper interiors. Changing the meshes to double sided only has limited use, especially in kits like Elysium.
Doorways in Enchanted kit
While I do appreciate the effort in creating openable doorways in the latest Enchanted kit...I must say that there are a few buildings in Enchanted that need to be fixed in regards to doorways. What is the point of providing a doorway when you put a brick wall right behind the doorway? It totally defeats the purpose of the doorway...and can't be used to create an enterable room beyond that doorway. Not to sound harsh, but the creators of your assets need to think like game developers when creating kits for game engines. The whole purpose of buying a kit from you is to make our lives easier when using the kits. Please...if you could be so kind...create a list of standards (based on the feedback here) that your creators will need to follow when designing kits. If you need advice as to what the list should have...ask your users via questionnaire that we can answer. That way a standard can then be developed and followed.
[BUG] Future Warzone Asset Corrupt
KB3D_FTW_BldgMdRepairShop_A_Building appears to be corrupted in the Future Warzone downloadable kit. The engine freezes when trying to prep the static mesh for loading. Edit to add: KB3D_FTW_BldgMdHangar_A_BuildingB is also corrupted, the rest of the files are working correctly
[Kit Feedback] Unreal | Kits does not have collision set up
can I get a refund for this asset pack as it is not game ready like I thought don't know how you can sell unreal files and have no correct collision the unreal marketplace would never approve this literally any assset pack u buy on the unreal marketplace has correct collision setup cuz that's how it's supposed to be. those that don't want it can just disable it. there is no excuse for this. I have no use for this asset pack if you wont' setup proper collision and I do not have the means to do so myself and neither did I expect to have to do it especially at such a premium price point.
Pre-made and Iclone
I think if you also offered per-made city and set for people for make games and movies but dont have the know how to say build a city or world let them focus on animation on creating and it could be a way to pay and promote artist, Also tutorials the one you have for blender mission to mars is really nice but coud have done with out the questioning. and offering a Iclone size woud be nice. [Kit Feedback] Unable to open the doors and you can't adjust the windows.
I just wanted to ask since you guys offer Unreal Engine. whether you could do this so that you can make the windows in a group and the individual doors. so that you can either remove them or just move them. as currently is always as a whole and you can't open the doors and you can't adjust the windows. So unfortunately (I think speaks for many) very unusable in Unreal, this would be good for all assets and shouldn't be difficult to enable when creating. then you could use the assets much better for all purposes.
[Kit Feedback] Remove or reduce single value textures
In the Minerva and Neo City kits, when loaded in Blender (and likely other packages) there are a lot of image textures used where the image is entirely a single value. Most often, this is metallic textures that are all black for non-metalic materials, but there are also lots of single color roughness, normal, and base color images. It least in Blender, these 2K and 4K images still take up a lot of VRAM. I found that by removing the texture and replacing it with a single value I could reduce the VRAM of scenes without any visual change. This is for example by replacing an 4K image texture that is all black with the value of 0. I'd look into if future kits or kit versions could use single pixel images for textures that are all one value, or just set the value directly on the Blender material. In the example image, the all black metal texture can be replaced with the value zero. Then when the texture is removed and the file clean up command is run (to remove the iamge from memory), the VRAM of the scene is reduced.
Kitbash Hong Kong Should be in Traditional Chinese
I have noticed that the Hong Kong pack Chinese character is in Simplified Chinese, which is not used in Hong Kong, Hong Kong uses Traditional Chinese Character
[Kit Feedback] Day and Night windows
Please add the ability to add random lights to the windows for the bigger skyscrapers. If this is already possible in Unreal, please post a tutorial.
v5 kits crash when you select Cycles GPU render
I am noticing that in Blender, v5 kits crash when you select Cycles GPU render. V4 kits do not crash in the same scenario. Cycles CPU render works fine on both.
