Texture Issue with UE5 Nanite

So while on DX11 the textures work fine and are all properly connected however, enabling Nanite destroys the quality of the KB assets. While on DX12 Nanite works as intended but the textures go poof. Can't seem to find a fix, Nanite apparent only works with opaque mats but I can't seem to change them.

Hi Eric,
I've experienced that same thing and here is how I got around it.
In UE5 (with DX12 enabled), go to Tools, Naniate Tools. In the pop up window, set the Triangle Threshold to 1 and click Enable Nanite. After that process is done, go back to the Errors tab and click Disable Nanite if there is anything in the error list.
After that, whenever you enable Nanite and Build Nanite the geometries shouldn't change LODs or drop shaders.

Ben Alepko: Thanks I'll give it a go.

Ben Alepko: Unfortunately, it didn't seem to work for me. Doubt I'd be able to get a steady 60fps without nanite with how dense these things are =P

Eric Bailey: Thanks for flagging this for us! We'll check this out and see what we can do in future Kits to help make this smoother. If you stumble upon another workaround that solves things on your end, post it here for anyone else who might be running into the same issue. :)
