UlysseP:
Hi Ulysse, This is my first time using assets from Kitbash. I have been using UE5 for a while now.
When I open my project to import Kitbash from my desktop its now allowing me too.

Nick B: Hey great, there is Two way to import a Kit properly. 1 - is to open the original File project from Kitbash3d that you downloaded on the website, this version its from a UE4 .4.26 you will have to have that version prior to open it.. or the other 2- I actually follow this method. Open the Launcher for UE5 and try to open the project from Kitbash3d, Unreal will let you know that this version is not compatible but it will let you the option to Save it as a copy for UE5. Choose Yes, it will take few minute to do so and It will open it. from there select the main folder, right click select "Migrate"it will open a windows, make sure everything you need is Enable Click "Yes". Now select the project that you want to import this new kit and select the "Content" folder this is where you need to save the kit. (Look at the screenshot below it need to look like this in the folder.) let me know if this is not clear

Nick B: Sorry, I meant to say "open the file/kit that you downloaded on the website" (when unreal Launcher is open and let you browse select the Kit that you just got and open it)

Hi Nick B!
I do not have a lot of experience with Macs, but a co-worker of mine previously loaded a project we were working on to his iMac and it worked fine without needing any mac specific changes. I think you should be able to download the Unreal .zip from KB3D and open it just fine on your Mac, assuming it has the recommended specs. If you get any sort of warning or error attempting this please let us know.

Phil Kuzmicz:Hi Phil! Thanks for that info. Still not able to import Kitbash assets to my current project in UE5.

Nick B: Can you try to load the .uproject that comes in the .zip folder and migrating the .uassets into your project after it loads?
