Newest update breaks plugin in all versions of C4D

Like many others here, it simply doesn’t work, and it’s really frustrating. I can’t believe you’re selling a subscription for a plugin that doesn’t function properly. How is it that Epic's Bridge installation was so seamless and worked flawlessly, while Cargo has been struggling for so long? Perhaps it’s time to reconsider the team responsible for this, as it’s damaging your reputation.

Cargo needs to get on board with the "growing" competitive landscape out there (Fab should give you a run for your money) and embrace USDZ formats that can be directly downloaded to your hard drive as an option. There is a constant battle of trying to get Cargo to work with each release of C4D that will permanently keep me from your annual subscription program. It was rather irritating that to take advantage of the free assets offered through "Secrets of Luminaria", I had to install Cargo on Blender simply because there was no version of C4D (all the way back to R23) where it would allow me to open them directly in C4D.
Fortunately, Blender exports FBX pretty well but does not map the shader maps to Redshift as well as USDZ. The free assets from Quixel are in USDZ format and working with those prove to me just how easy it is to load a USDZ format into C4D. Literally one-click simple with no further adjustments required.
For the long-term health of Kitbash 3D whose products are amazing (I've purchased over 30 kits through the years) abandon the Cargo plugins but keep the Cargo program where you can browse for individual models and just download them in your preferred format to your hard drive (with the addition of USDZ). Please give up on trying to install them directly into your current scene....it is just not working.

Cargo crashes C4d 2024.4

When trying to import a model, Cargo indicates it cannot connect, then C4d shuts down. Cargo shows multiple instances of C4d plugin, following various install attempts, but there is no way to remove them.
Where is the Cargo plugin directory in C4d? It cannot be found in any of the plugin paths of C4d, but is visible in the interface.

Cargo hates its C4D users.

I have relied heavily on Kitbash/Cargo for my work for the past 4 years, and ever since the Cargo model I fight my superiors every year to keep my subscription - not an insignificant expense for a company my size.
For a while now I've had to open an old install of c4d 2024 to import assets - a pain in the ass already - but I was patient... The quality and price point of this product should mean that a patch is imminent! ... right?
The latest Cargo update has now broken that workflow and made accessing any Cargo asset completely impossible.
Coming here to find this issue has been in this state of limbo for this long is profoundly disappointing. Without even an FBX workaround this once invaluable tool has become a useless expense. I almost miss the days of rooting around in massive c4d files and meticulously repairing textures just to get a single model halfway usable. At least then I had the items I paid to have access to.
Really getting tired of having to budget for disappointment here. Looking forward to seeing this issue moved to the top of the priority list before more and more people start wanting retroactive reimbursement...
Not to mention, the lack of response on this issue doesn't bode well for future updates.

Can you make it work again maybe?

One comment: I installed Cargo in my older install of C4d 2023 and it works flawlessly. I had not installed it there before.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Still get "unable to connect" error when trying to import in all 4 versions I have installed.

Jared Sales: Hey there, have you reached out to support yet? If not I would recommend that you do that so they can best help you troubleshoot and get some next steps.
