[Feature Request] Save browsing position and filter options between page views

It'd be great if every time I go into a menu it didn't start me at the top of the list/clear out my filters. Remembering my position and options as I'm jumping around in the application would make browsing a far more smooth experience.

It would be great to see <- and -> buttons on the corner of the UI. Or just implemented as <Alt>-<Left> / <Alt>-<Right> would be great. (Or pick your hot-keys.)

If you combine this with asset caching, I think you could save some bandwidth for your servers.

It would be nice to start where I left off, as far as filtering. (Or was I looking at kits, etc.) 
If you implement a "history of all clicks", you could also implement an "Undo" key be the "back button". (I.e., Ctrl-Z.) Or you could use a custom key like "Alt-backspace". Then, of course, it would be simple to add a "Back" or '<-' button to the top left corner of the UI.
(This would not only save me time, but would save you bandwidth, if you cache the current page. Even if you didn't cache it, it would mean I'm hitting the server less to get back to where I was.)
