Cargo always tries to update Cinema 4D plugin on startup

After the latest update (v 1.1.4), if Cinema 4D is already running when Cargo starts, Cargo requests an update of the Cinema 4D plugin and won't open until it has done so.
Meaning I need to launch Cargo, then close C4D, then (maybe) update plugin, then restart C4D before I can even start browsing kits. Especially annoying if I was in the middle of something big.
I'm not sure it even updates anything, since what happens when I do close C4D is that Cargo directly pops up the login screen, asks again for my login credentials and then works as a charm.
Rinse and repeat daily makes it a sub-optimal workflow

Hi Emilien Rotival ,
We're sorry that you keep running into the Update Plugins Required modal, not ideal! As a first step in troubleshooting this, can you go back to Cargo -> Account -> Software Settings and retry the software setup?
Reach out to support and let us know if you're still running into this issue after taking the above steps. Thanks!

Elaine Deveney I already tried this once, but all it did is create a duplicate entry in the software list and I'm still running into the launch issue. I was previously on Cinema 4D 2023 and recently upgraded to 2024.2, I think this may be related to my troubles.
Ideally I would reset everything - remove all versions of the plugin on both Cargo and C4D sides, then start from a clean slate - but I'm not sure where and how to do this.
Unrelated note : if Cargo is able to connect with multiple versions of the same software, it would help a lot to show said version in the dropdown menu instead of just the name of the software.
